Biography

Dr. Myles Potter is a proud native of North Augusta, SC. He graduated valedictorian from North Augusta High School where he shined in both academics and sports. Before graduating cum laude from Davidson College in 2009, he played in the Academic All-Pioneer Football League and after a vote conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America, he also played for ESPN's The Magazine Academic All-District Football Team.

Dr. Potter moved to Charleston, SC to attend the Medical University of South Carolina. It was there that he received his medical degree and completed an internal medicine internship. He began his ophthalmology residency a month later at the University of Florida and remained there upon completion to undertake a cornea and external disease fellowship.

Dr. Potter loves spending time with his beautiful wife Kathryn Anne and their dog Sullivan. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends, golfing, skiing, traveling, cooking, running, hiking and watching collegiate athletics (especially football).
